Use Cases
Exhibition floors are crowded. To stop visitors walking past your stand, you need something that grabs attention and holds it. A well-chosen LED screen does that—but only if it's the right size, brightness and configuration for your space and message.
Why LED Screens Matter on Exhibition Stands
A static banner or poster competes silently against dozens of others. An LED screen brings motion, colour and presence. You can loop product videos, display live social media feeds, show customer testimonials or run a countdown to a demo. Visitors naturally gravitate toward moving light and colour, and the screen becomes a reason to stop and engage.
Beyond attraction, LED screens solve a practical problem: they let you show more story in less physical space. A compact 2m × 1.2m screen can display what would otherwise need three separate banner panels, and it's far more memorable.
Screen Size and Stand Layout
Exhibition space is expensive, and so is every square metre of your stand. The screen should fit your footprint without dominating the entire structure—unless that's your strategy. A typical approach:
Small stands (under 50 m²): A single panel screen, often 2m wide, mounted at eye level or slightly elevated to be visible from across the aisle.
Medium stands (50–200 m²): A larger video wall, perhaps 3m–4m wide, or multiple screens angled to different zones of your space.
Large exhibition builds: Bespoke layouts where screens wrap corners, form feature walls or integrate into a full brand environment.
The key is sightline. Screens are most effective when visible from 10–15 metres away. If your stand is deep or at an awkward angle to foot traffic, placement matters as much as size.
Brightness for Exhibition Lighting
Most exhibition halls use bright fluorescent or LED overhead lighting. Your screen must cut through ambient glare to remain vivid. A screen that looks sharp in your office will look washed out on a typical showfloor.
LED House supplies screens with the brightness needed for exhibition environments. We'll discuss your specific hall's lighting and stand layout so the screen remains sharp and engaging throughout the event, whether it's a product showcase or a data-heavy infographic display.
Content and Messaging
The screen is the vehicle; your content is the message. Think about what you want to communicate:
Product demos or how-to videos (15–30 second loops work well)
Customer success stories or case studies
Live feeds—social media, leaderboards, or real-time data from your team
Brand visuals and corporate messaging
Rotating imagery that changes throughout the event
Unlike a permanent installation, exhibition screens are temporary. Content often needs to be simple, engaging and easy to update on-site. We work with you on the practicalities of getting content onto the screen and managing it over multiple days.
Setup, Compliance and Logistics
Exhibition venues have rules. Stands must meet height restrictions, weight limits and safety standards. An LED screen is heavy and needs secure mounting, safe cabling and earthing.
LED House handles exhibition screen builds and AV, which means we understand venue requirements, load-out timelines and the logistics of setting up screens in a shared event space. We'll coordinate with your stand builder, ensure the screen is safely installed, and make sure it works when the doors open. On the back end, we're there to support you during the exhibition and pack it away properly.
Hire vs. Purchase for Short-Term Use
For most exhibitions, hiring is the sensible choice. You avoid the capital cost of owning a screen, the hassle of storage and maintenance, and the risk of technology becoming outdated. You also don't tie up valuable stand real estate with kit you use once a year.
LED screen hire from LED House includes the screen, mounting, basic content support, and on-event technical backup. If you plan to use a screen at multiple exhibitions or in a permanent retail space later, we can discuss longer-term leases or purchase options.
Quality and Reliability
Your exhibition is a major investment—staff time, travel, booth rental, stand build, marketing. An LED screen that fails or looks poor reflects badly on your brand and wastes the entire event. We supply screens built for real-world conditions and back them up with reliable crew and support. No excuses, no downtime on showfloor.
Getting Started
To work out the right screen setup for your exhibition stand, we need to know:
The size and layout of your stand
The venue and typical lighting conditions
Your exhibition dates and any load-in/load-out constraints
The type of content you'll display and any live elements
Your budget and any existing stand partners (builders, designers)
Tell us what you're planning and we'll help you work out the right screen size, brightness and configuration. Get in touch with LED House to discuss your exhibition screen.
